This dua was taught by H. Ali (a.s.) to Kumail Ibn Ziyad. H. Ali (a.s.) said, ‘If possible, recite this dua daily, if not once a week (specially on Shab-e- Juma), or once a month, or once a year. If this is not possible, you must recite this dua once in your lifetime.’ By reciting this dua, you are protected from your enemies, your sustenance (rozi) will increase, your status will be raised on the Day of Judgement, your sins will be forgiven and you will spent your life with honour.
